Project Coordinator
Location: 10005 Enterprise Way SE, Calgary, AB
Hours: Full‑time, Monday–Friday (40 hrs/week)
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Reports to: Project Delivery Manager
Start Date: May 2026
 

About the Role

As a Project Coordinator at Glenmore Fabricators, you play a central role in the successful planning and execution of structural steel projects across Alberta. You’ll support the full project lifecycle — from detailing and fabrication through to erection, inspection, and closeout — ensuring information flows accurately and on time between internal teams, clients, and field personnel.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys managing details, and wants hands‑on exposure to the steel construction process. You’ll work closely with experienced project managers and technical teams while building the foundation for future growth into project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day communication with internal teams and external partners

  • Attend project meetings and prepare accurate meeting minutes

  • Manage document control for contract documents, drawings, and internal records

  • Process and track contract changes and support change management activities

  • Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and service

  • Manage the flow of project information, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and inspection reports

  • Maintain project schedules and assist with cost tracking and billing

  • Prepare closeout documentation, including as‑builts and turnover packages

  • Support procurement and verify materials as required

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction coordination or project management

  • Strong organizational skills and experience with document control

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Project)

  • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings

  • Knowledge of construction practices, specifications, and project management principles

  • Experience with structural steel fabrication and/or erection

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable interacting with customers, shop and field teams, and management

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • CET and/or PMP designation

 

Working Conditions

This is an in‑office role with regular visits to active construction sites. Remote work is not available for this position.
