Biscuit Block

About: Originally built in 1912 this building has had many functions. Although once a furniture warehouse, it got its name "Biscuit Block" from its time housing a cookie factory.

Location: 438 11th Avenue SE Calgary

Scope: A steel addition of two floors to an existing 4-story wood building. The wood and steel beams support an overhang that covers a terrace space.
